Spiral agitator

The high-powered double spiral agitator of the horizontal mixer displaces the liquid layers in the processed product out at the trough wall in one direction and towards the centre in the opposite direction, and at the same time the product is provided with some laminar flows. By means of the peripheral speed of the spiral agitator the product is furthermore provided with some turbulent flows. The close connection of 3 mm between the spiral agitator and the trough wall has the effect that the discharge sequence of the product is optimised towards the outlet placed in the centre.
